Oh, man... That's a stumper. My first inclination was "headlamp," but then I thought "filter," but noooooooooo... Seeing how much paint it's still got, it can't be WW2 old, so... I don't know. Interesting little piece of mahinery, though. I'd like to see it in a larger context, to see what's around it, what part of the vehicle it's sticking out of. Just a thought. Don't worry about it.
